AVN - Navicular

Avascular necrosis of the navicular is not very common.

Etiologies can be:
- Post-traumatic
- Biomechanical
- Charcot arthropathy

Regardless, the appearance is always terrible looking. The navicular will be sclerotic and narrowed. As with post-traumatic and charcot, the navicular can be severely fragmented.
